As developments in environmental management evolve, LIIP keeps locators at pace with the Environmental Training Seminar for Pollution Control Officers (PCOs).

Held at the LIIP Conference Room last August 25, 2011, the seminar covered PCO responsibilities and Environmental Reporting; LLDA Environmental Policies affecting industries; Compliance Procedures and Pollution Adjudication; and Environmental Management Systems.

The seminar provided a comprehensive understanding on applicable environmental laws and regulations along with knowledge on compliance to these regulations. The session also covered details on identification of required environmental permits and timely submission of reportorial requirements.

Alongside PCOs, CEOs, Senior Managers and other locator representatives were invited.
